"Working with York Gardens as part of the NIPA project has been an absolute pleasure. I have seen firsthand how much the children who you support have grown in their social, emotional and cognitive development. The staff are dedicated, knowledgeable and very experienced practitioners who hold the needs of the child at the forefront of their minds and hearts".

Occupational therapist - Nursery Inclusion Project for All

"York Gardens use a child-centred approach with personalised support to meet children’s individual needs while encouraging their strengths and emotional resilience so that they can reach their potential. I have seen just how attentive and proactive they are at supporting the developmental milestones experienced at this age as well as handling difficulties with sensitivity and compassion. It is not only the children at York Gardens that are well supported, they build strong relationships with parents and have created a wonderfully inclusive, nurturing and welcoming environment".

My child has come on leaps and bounds since being at nursery. This journey is all thanks to you and your team. I can't express how grateful I am.

Parent

I felt good bringing my children to nursery everyday knowing they would be taken care of well. The teachers helped both my children settle well and come out of their shell and for that I can never thank them enough. My children became more confident and playful. The communication with staff members is so quick and easy and they are very understanding and supportive. I honestly love the place and can’t wait to bring the twins when they turn two !

It was lovely to see such a great bucket time session (listening and attention game) at nursery today. One of the best I have seen at a nursery.

Children are happy and settle quickly upon arriving at the nursery. They form strong attachments with staff, who give them lots of praise and reassurance. Children of mixed ages play together, which enables them to develop their social skills effectively. They learn to share and take turns to secure good behaviour. Children respond positively to the high expectations for their learning.
