We started our journey together at Wandsworth Play Services in 2009, overseeing childcare and play areas for children.

We understand that the early years of a child's life are crucial for development and learning. Experiences from birth to age five greatly influence future outcomes in emotional well-being, mental health, education, health, employment, and wealth.

The best way for children to grow is through play. It teaches them communication, friendship, problem-solving, decision-making, concentration, risk management, and all other life skills. Children will play whenever possible, but providing them with opportunities that cater to their interests and fascinations in inclusive environments, supported by creative, enthusiastic, and caring teachers, can unlock their limitless potential.

Driven by our vision to offer exciting, innovative early years learning through play and supporting children and families, we opened our first nursery at York Gardens Children Centre in 2014, followed by Thessaly Road Nursery at Yvonne Carr Children Centre in 2019. Joanna oversees York Gardens Nursery, and Sonia is in charge of Thessaly Road Nursery. Both nurseries boast experienced, professional teams of teachers and practitioners, some of whom have been with us from the beginning. Our low staff turnover is vital for forming strong bonds with children and families. As managers, we engage with the children and their families daily, and we invite you to visit either nursery to learn more.
