Our Nurseries
York Gardens
nursery is situated in York Gardens Children Centre on Lavender Road in Clapham Junction, SW11 opened in 2013. This purpose built premises has a large garden and provides a bright and welcoming nursery environment that has been specifically designed to provide care and learning for twenty four children aged from two to five years. We are open 38 weeks per year not including bank holidays from 9:00 am to 4:00pm.
Thessaly Road
nursery opened in 2019 and is situated in Yvonne Carr Children Centre in Thessaly Road SW8. This setting is on the border of Wandsworth and Lambeth and welcomes all children. This setting is also purpose built for children aged 2 to 5 years and the children have constant access to a lovely garden. The nursery is open 38 weeks a year from 9am to 3:30pm.
Settling in at nursery
Our goal is to assist parents and caregivers in helping their children adapt swiftly and smoothly to nursery life by addressing the unique needs and situations of each child and their family. More information is available in our key person approach and settling in at nursery information sheets.
Upon your child's start at the nursery, you will participate in two stay and play sessions alongside their key person (teacher). These sessions are invaluable for making your child feel at ease in their new surroundings, offering ample opportunity to meet everyone and learn about daily life at the nursery. After attending these sessions, we can arrange for your child to begin attending on their own.
